State House takes stringent measures to keep Jomo Kenyatta and Achola Ngobi’s white wedding under wraps

President Uhuru Kenyatta’s eldest son Jomo Kenyatta finally married his sweetheart Fiona Achola Ngobi in an exclusive white wedding.

Jomo Kenyatta and Achola Ngobi first got married in a traditional wedding ceremony sometimes in 2016. The public only learnt about the wedding when photos surfaced online.

State House took stringent measures to make sure guests who attended the wedding didn’t take photos and leaked them on social media.

Security barred guests from accessing State House with recording devices like cameras and phones. This explains why no photo of the wedding has surfaced on social media yet.

The private lives of members of the Kenyatta First Family is usually shrouded in secrecy. The media was also blocked from accessing Aga Khan Hospital when Achola Ngobi gave birth.
