What’s demon has gotten into cops to make them shoot dead their girlfriends? A 25 year old lady in Nakuru is the latest victim of crime of passion perpetrated by the police.
Just a week ago, Kenyans were shocked by news of a GSU officer attached to the Presidential escort service who shot dead his girlfriend in the street of Nairobi because she rejected his marriage proposal.
Well, another police officer in Nakuru county shot dead his girlfriend on Tuesday September 26th 2017. Constable Stephen Kimani shot dead Susan Njeri Kinuthia in a residential apartment within Kanu Street, Milimani estate.
The officer, who was based at Molo police station, turned the gun on himself after killing his girlfriend. The bodies of the two lovebirds were found lying in a pool of blood in the residential apartment with bullet wounds on both their heads.
Police recovered the officer’s AK-47 rifle, 11 live ammunition and 9 empty cartridges at the scene. The bodies of the deceased were moved to the mortuary as detectives started investigation into the incident.
