Githurai girl sends heartwarming message after releasing first album at only 13 

At only 13, singer Amani G popularly known as Githurai girl is in the news for doing what King Kaka and Khaligraph Jones did recently.

The young singer, who impressed Kenyans after singing Alicia Keys’ “Girl On Fire” early this year, released her debut album ”My Reflection At 13”, yesterday at Alliance Francaise.

The event, which was sponsored by her record label Pine Creek Music, attracted artists such as Moji Short Babaa, Pitson, Daddy Owen and Timeless Noel who have also been featured in the album.

Lovely year

It has been a lovely year for the young girl who went from rags to riches after landing the deal. She also completed her KCPE exams this year and now she has a successful album which has a string of hits.

On social media, she sent the message to Kenyans thanking them for the support.

Things are unfolding a little bit fast for young singer Amani G, who many identify as Githurai girl, after her viral clip. The singer, at only 13 years, signed her first deal of 2.5 million shillings at record label Pine Creek.

She has now released her first anticipated video called “Sitasahau” which has been produced by Peter Nduati(owner of Pine Creek) and Teddy B.

The song was short at Karen C school and also has students of King Hill Academy.

Githurai girl now joins millionaire’s club after signing Sh 2.5 million deal 

Still trending almost a month after a clip of her singing Alicia Keys’ “Girl on Fire” went viral, Glorious Amani or who many have been calling Githurai girl, might trend a little longer because of her back account.

The 13-year-old has signed a record deal worth Ksh 2.5 million shillings from Pine Creek record and will be releasing her first music video soon under her new stage name: Amani G.

Her viral video wowed not only Kenyans but also 15-time American Grammy Award winning artist Alicia Keys who even went on to post it on social media.Creek is also excited to sign her.

Githurai girl lands lucrative recording deal days after impressing the world 

Days after she left the world breathless with her voice, Gracious Amani is now set to solidify her place as an upcoming artist after landing a lucrative deal from a local record label.

The eight-year-old, who became a trending topic after singing Alicia Keys’ “Girl On Fire” and going viral, has landed a recording deal from Pine Creek Records.

Making the announcement via their social media pages, the record label promised to grow Amani’s talent and make her a star.

“We have had a number of studio sessions with Amani G and can confirm that she will grow into a force to reckon with in music. We wish her the best of luck,” they said.

Pine Creek is just another company among many that has joined Amani’s wave. Vivian and her hubby also wanted to manage her after agreeing to record a song immediately she started trending.  Pine Creek is owned by legendary music producer Peter Nduati.

Bother of Githurai girl who sang Alicia Keys song beaten, family continues to get death threats

The mother of Gracious Amani, a girl who impressed the world and went viral after singing Alicia Key’s hit song, recently shared that Amani’s clip has also turned into a curse since her family has been receiving death threats.

Christine Ambuso said the family started receiving threats after the video went viral.

“After the video went viral we started receiving threats and at some point, my son was attacked. People started demanding money from us thinking that we have been making money from the video and interviews,” said Amani’s mother during an interview with Citizen TV.

Ambuso has now come out to share that they her family is still in danger after her 17-year-old son, Fadhil, was attacked by unknown men in Githurai. The men wanted money, a thing that has left the family in fear.

“The assailants were demanding money. Everyone in the family has now been forced to walk as they watch their back, ” she revealed in an interview with Kenyans. 

The 13-year-old girl made it to the news after she sang American RnB sensation Alicia Keys hit song “Girl on Fire”. Keys then acknowledged her talent, officially launching her music career.
