President Uhuru clears loan for taxi driver who cried like a baby after his car was stoned by Nasa supporters

A grieving taxi driver caused a stir on social media amid the chaos that was witnessed when Raila Odinga returned home on Friday November 17th.

Raila Odinga’s grand welcome turned chaotic when police clashed with his supporters. Motorists along Mombasa road were caught in the middle of the melee.

A taxi driver only known as Nyakundi was on Mombasa road at the time of the chaos. His car was stoned by rowdy Nasa supporters.

Someone help please

Nyakundi was seen in a viral video crying like a toddler who had been denied milk. He begged anyone to assist him repair his vehicle.

The wailing taxi driver revealed that he had bought his car with a loan which he was still paying. He said he didn’t have any cash to replace the window that had been broken.

Help arrives

 


Nyakundi’s plea was heard by president Uhuru Kenya. The head of state dispatched Interior Cabinet Secretary Karanja Kibicho to help the taxi driver.

Nyakundi met Kibicho at his office where he received the good news. Uhuru cleared his bank loan and gave him money to fix his care.
