Jeff Koinange sends a humble plea to Kenyans for financial assistance

Jeff Koinange is asking Kenyans to help him raise money to fund his project. The Citizen TV anchor wants to stock his library in Kibera.

A new library under construction at Mbagathi Girls High School has been named after Jeff Koinange. Kibra Kenneth Okoth did the honor of naming the library after the legendary journalist.

Jeff now wants to stock the library before it officially opens its doors to students. He asks Kenyans to help him raise money to buy books to stock his library.

“Folks..I was honored to have the Library at the newly constructed Mbagathi Girls High School named under me by the Kibra MP Kenneth Okoth . The Jeff Koinange Library and Resource Centre!! Folks, together you can help me stock the #JeffKoinangeLibrary,” Jeff sent a humble plea.

225k raised in a few hours

Jeff’s fans and well-wishers responded to his plea and quickly sent him money. Kes 225,100 had been raised by 10:00pm Thursday November 16th.

Jeff Koinange Library opens in 13 days time. Jeff plans to raise enough money to stock the library before students can start using it.
