Mercy Masika praises God in new year song “I’m Standing”

Mercy Masika has opened the year with an uplifting song dubbed I’m Standing. In the new jam, the celebrated gospel singer takes worship a notch higher in the new year.

The singer has been slow on releasing music in 2019 but seems 2020 is that year she will not be resting. I’m Standing has been performed in English fully and it is interesting.

To start with, the song is a praise song to God who has taken care of us throughout the long year. Also, the song shows a champion, a hero and winner in the side of Jesus Christ.

Mercy Masika has not disappointed in this and is sure you will definitely feel the praise vibe. In addition, the way the video to the song, I’m standing looks like that of a live praise session.

There is a live band in this hit making it one of her unique hits and a unique way to begin her year. Also, her back up voices for sure had planned well for this jam as it is so lit.

Mercy Masika does the unthinkable with the worship factory team considering this is her first project of the year.

Among other teams involved in this great jam was Nqubeko Mbatha who gave the audio a great feel. I’m Standing has the best audio and you can tell everything is in sync.

The visuals is the work of Steve Hunter. Yes, I said Steve Hunter, you’ll know how this dude does a great job. He has for sure treated Mercy Masika’s hit with much respect.

Actually, the team has done a great job like the God who is being praised. I am sure most of you can relate to what God has done over the year.

In conclusion, I’m Standing by Masika Masika gets a rating of 7/10.

Mercy Masika Says ‘Muite Yesu’ in her new jam

Mercy Masika is back with another praise song ‘Muite Yesu’. This jam is dope and it is all about seeking for help from God. She says that people should call on God when in a problem and not be silent.

Mercy Masika has been doing well in gospel and her choice of words in her music is just amazing. Is she the only sane artist in this genre of music?

Muite Yesu comes in a few weeks after her last release I love You. This lady is super talented and I like how she gives it her all in her music.

Production

In addition to her voice, there are other things that makes this the best jam today. Most gospel artist rarely give it their all and their sing for money. I don’t think that is the case with Mercy Masika. Muite Yesu has seen a couple of hands at work.

To start with, the jam has been written by Mercy Masika, Pitson Pen and Paper and Tim Still Alive. This is some good work from the duo. It is so smooth and calming and you notice the perfection in it.

Both audio and video was done Still Alive Production. It is a great deal here. The quality of the video and sound is just dope. Graphics and other visuals are just great. The beat to this jam is just wow.

The background is great, the song has been shot in Kenya exposing the beautiful scenery. Also, the choice of costume is good and not overdone.

Delivery of ‘Muite Yesu’

There is a way that Mercy Masika delivers her songs. She brings out the emotions clearly something that makes people enjoy the song. The gospel vibe is felt in her voice and words. Generally, the song is good and it gets a rating of 7/10.

Mercy Masika begs Kenyans to stop being fake on social media: People need to remain true

Gospel singer and new UN refugee agency’s national goodwill ambassador for Kenya Mercy Masika has an advice for Kenyans who are living in a different world on social media.

According to the singer, people should avoid posting a fake lifestyle on social media just to look good.

Masika said that the reason why so many people are depressed is because they post their lifestyle and they see it’s not as good as other’s.

“A lot of people post nice things about themselves on social media but do not post their real lives,” she said.

“People need to remain true with what they have and trust God in everything,” she added.

The singer has a new song dubbed ‘Muite Yesu’ that is addressing the current state we are in as a generation.

“It is God’s grace because there is nothing in particular but most of all, I want to be a blessing to my generation and because I can only become one through my music, that is what I use,” she said.
