The limited Christmas RED Edition OPPO F5 6GB goes on sale country wide after a pre-order period on Jumia. The limited edition having only 500 devices, will be available with an exquisite appearance in Red and black and will cost Kes 39,990 on the Kenyan market.

The new OPPO F5 has been placed for pre-order through Safaricom both online and offline to enable Kenyans acquire the device locally before its official selling date.

OPPO F5 dubbed ‘Selfie Expert & Leader’ has been unveiled in Kenya. The premium smartphone model is the first OPPO phone that comes with a Full Screen display.

OPPO F5 Full HD+ (2160×1080) also features the groundbreaking A.I. Beauty Recognition Technology. The technology is designed to personalize beautification for subjects according to the facial feature and the surrounding environment to give the best Selfie experience ever and to “Capture the Real You.”

Guests who attending OPPO F5 unveiling ceremony at Radisson Blue hotel, Nairobi were given a chance to test the A.I. beauty recognition technology. They were able to take cool Selfies and share outstanding moments with each other.

What makes OPPO F5 a premium model?

OPPO F5 is the first smart phone to bring Artificial Intelligence into selfie feature in Kenya. A technology that identifies shapes and facial structures based on a global database emulating skills that help selfies look more real and natural.

20MP front camera

OPPO F5 comes installed with a 20MP front camera with an ultra-sensitive F2.0 aperture and 1/2.8” sensor. OPPO F5 is also packs a 3200Ah battery and the Continuous Optimizing technology which manages the apps running on the device, allowing the user up to 12 hours of continuous use.

Game acceleration

OPPO F5 also has some special features for the consumers such as Game acceleration specially targeting gamers. This feature will offer a smoother game experience apart from optimizing the game display configuration to fully utilize hardware resource. Facial Unlock

OPPO F5 comes with Facial Unlock, the new face recognition technology that will recognize its user and unlock the phone. If the user prefers to use the fingerprint unlock function, the fingerprint reader is now on the back of the phone, giving way to a full front screen.

O-share file sharing technology

The O-share file sharing technology is 100 times faster than Bluetooth – 8 to 10 pictures (3MB each) can be transferred between OPPO phones within 1 second. The device has been placed on pre-order starting from 20th to 27th November where the members of the public will be able to pre-order manually and get a preorder gift an official Barcelona backpack and it will be officially on sale on 28th November.

OPPO A71 finally retails on open market after giving Safaricom two weeks exclusive selling rights

The much awaited OPPO A71 smartphone was launched in Kenya a fortnight ago. OPPO A71 was sold exclusively at Safaricom shops across the country since its launch.

OPPO A71 is now open for sale to all company dealers in the country. The device retails at Kes 19,990 at all shops across Kenya.

“Having the device in the open market will now have Kenyans access our products at their convenience, which is in line with our vision of providing every Kenyan with affordable yet sophisticated devices with a great camera experience,” OPPO Kenya Communications manager Priscillah Kaumo quoted.

The new OPPO A71 has seen tremendous buzz in the internet for its capability of offering premium design and enhanced features that guarantee high performance, superb photography and unique design.

OPPO A71, which has been dubbed ‘Speedy Operations’, boasts a 13-megapixel camera that can take up to 50MP high resolution pictures.
