Ugandan Singer Jose Chameleone Hospitalized In The US With Stomach Illness

Legendary Ugandan singer Jose Chameleone has been hospitalized in the US following a stomach illness. The 44-year-old singer’s father, Gerald Mayanja, told Bukedde TV that Chameleone has been having stomach complications for the past few months. The illness worsened when Chameleone moved to the US, and he is now bedridden.

Mayanja said that Chameleone is currently receiving treatment for his stomach complications. He has not revealed the specific illness that Chameleone is suffering from, but his wife, Daniella Atim, has previously said that he has H-pylori, a type of bacteria that can infect the stomach.

Chameleone’s illness has sparked an outpouring of support from his fans and fellow musicians. Ugandan singer Gravitty Omutujji has called on fellow Ugandan stars to come together and pray for Chameleone.

“As a country, we need to pray for Chameleone, his friends, and everybody, wherever you are, pray for Chameleone because he is terribly ill,” Omutujji said.
