Kenyan musician and entrepreneur Esther Akoth, better known to many as Akothee, has been recognized by Forbes as among the richest musicians in Africa. Akothee’s massive wealth is noticeable through the numerous palatial homes she not only owns in Kenya but other parts of the world; including Switzerland and France.

Her net worth was estimated to be $10 Million (about Ksh 1Billion). Without a doubt, she has added a substantial fortune this year. The 40 year old musician shared the great news with her fans online; and shunned her haters who would claims that she paid Forbes to include her in the list.

She has been ranked number 15, with Senegalese Youssou N’Dour topping the list, followed by Akon in 2nd place.
