Kenya is About to Unveil Its Own Miss Fabulous Today

The day is finally here.

The final event for the Miss Fabulous pageant will take place today at the 680 Hotel along Kenyatta Avenue between 8.00 p.m. and 11.00 p.m.

The Grand Prize is Kshs. 100,000, a one-year job contract with National Organization of Peer Education and the title of Ambassador of Change.

The goal of Miss Fabulous is to instill positive values while enhancing girls’ social skills. Each one of the Pageant Categories is associated with specific life-skills which steer girls towards success in life.”

Miss Fabulous Africa is a beauty pageant that is held every year, with its main objective being to help young women achieve personal growth, development and take pride in their heritage, discover their inner beauty in achieving their humanitarian goals in life and laying a strong foundation as leaders of the future.

Last year’s winner, Alice Shollei, signed a one-year contract with NOPE to work on projects such as promoting health and peace awareness to the youth, giving her the opportunity to be the voice for the less privileged and a role model for the youth. The first winner was Teresia Nandunda.

The community-driven Competition committed is to addressing health, education, value of beauty; this are the key leading social issues in every community, an endeavor at bringing youth together to explore, discover and advance their creative talent.
