LIST: Last Year’s Malaika Tribute Award Winners. Who Will It Be This Year?

Last year, was the first time the Malaika Tribute Awards came together to award society changers.

Malaika Tribute Awards are aimed at celebrating people with disabilities and recognizing the work of people who have contributed to making their lives better.

This year, the event returns with a change of venue. It takes place at the Windsor Golf & Country Club along Kiambu Road from 6.00 p.m. Check out last year’s winners’ list below.

Innovator of the Year – Barrack Ounga
Young Achiever: Arts & Music Award – Martha Ouko
Lifetime Achievement Award – Mary Atieno
Special Recognition Award – Ruth Mueni
Young Achiever: Sports – Shadrack Wambugu
Good Samaritan Award – Bethany Kids Kijabe Hospital
Notable Educator of the Year Award – Dr.Michael Ndurumo

Who will win this year?

Malaika Trust also hopes to bring change in the community and help the society to view the disabled people as their equal and supporting the rights of people living with disabilty.
