Last Saturday the flamboyant Lupita Nyong’o was out to make a fashion statement with her ultra expensive jewellery.

The Kenyan actress strutted down Toronto International Film Festival red carpet wearing jewellery worth $624,000 or Kes 63 million.

Lupita was at Toronto International Film Festival for the premier of ‘The Queen of Katwe’; the movie that was shot in Uganda.

People magazine reports that Lupita wore $624,000 worth of jewelry from Tiffany & Co., including an 8.21-carat yellow-diamond ring, a 15.75-carat sapphire-and-diamond ring, and tanzanite-and-diamond earrings.

Funny how Lupita looked simple in her dress and jewellery yet the price of her adornments could buy a mansion in Runda.
