Lupita Now Embraces Her Mexican Roots

 

After a mini-feud pitting Kenyans and Mexicans especially after Lupita Nyong’o won an Oscar, the talented actress has come out to embrace her Mexican roots.

Earlier in the week, Lupita joined Plaza Sesamo, a Mexican edition of the popular children’s show Sesame Street, for a short segment celebrating laughter.

Born in Mexico, Lupita is fluent is four languages including Spanish, English, Kiswahili and Dholuo. So it explains it when she appeared on the Mexican version of Sesame Street in a short segment that teaches kids how to laugh that she spoke impeccable Spanish.

Here’s the translation:

“Hello, I’m Lupita, today I want us to celebrate smile day. Do you know how laugh? Why don’t we laugh together? Ready, 1, 2, 3!”

Lupita’s role was to teach kids how to laugh, smile and be happy not just for World Laughter Day, but every day.
