Previously engaged and livingMaryatogether, the two have broken their engagement and Marya has moved back to her parents’ house in what they are calling a ‘break.’ They aren’t keen to speak about it, but we understand that their parents are at a crossroads on whether Marya should convert to Islam, Mustapha’s religion. “it’s true that we are apart at the moment, but probably that will give us time to think of a way forward,” Marya said in a statement.

The two have changed their relationship statuses on Facebook from ‘Engaged’ to ‘Single.’ Mustapha wrote, “If I knew, I wouldn’t have engaged her so early.” Meanwhile, Marya is just about to drop another song.
