Matatu With Aquarium Floor Hits Nairobi Roads (Photo)

The other day we told a story of one of the flashiest matatus to ever hit Nairobi roads. Now forget the matatu plying the CBD-Rongai routes. Another one out of this world has been unveiled, and it is not your ordinary matatu.

This is class. Perfection. State-of-the-art. Name them.

According to the Standard, The Beast as it is called and which plies the Eastern Bypass routes will have an aquarium floor.

The Matatu is under the Eastern Bypass Sacco and according to of the its crew members, Mr. Robert Ouko, “Apart from the cosy seats we invested in, the vehicle has five woofers to spill quality music. Additionally, we intend to have an aquarium on its floor. It is one-of-a-kind.”

Ouko also told the Standard, “We know city routes are flooded with other mathrees named ‘Beast’, but ours is different. It has a Mercedes Benz logo, attractive green lights at night and jungle colours. We also charge pocket-friendly fares like the rest.”

The matatu is said to have already been received well by commuters as it fills in less than 10 minutes the moment it hits the stage.
