Meet DJ Teebone who Has the Passion, the Drive and the Skills to be the Next Big Thing and he Probably Doesn’t Even Know it

What makes a good DJ? Is it the hype? The skill set or the marketing strategy? But perhaps it’s the passion? The persistence?  What is it exactly? And does the ability to make you nod your head to some really cool jams while sitting at the counter of some swanky bar thinking about life count?

Because this Tee bone guy was really doing it for me when I was chilling at Kiza lounge last night. I needed to clear my head and being Jazz night at the place, I decided to make a stop by, to think about life while sipping some whiskey and listening to good music.

I wasn’t disappointed trust me. Chris Bitok really held it down for me with his prowess on the saxophone and being complemented by Atemi on the vocals, it was like heaven in my ears. Just the kind of relaxation you need on a Tuesday trust me.

And when the drink kicks in and you want to jiggle a little bit before going home and facing yet another day in Nairobi. This DJ Tee bone just did for me. He started me off with some cool jams from the 80’s getting me in the mood before playing some brandy and some Usher from the 90’s making sure I was warmed up proper.

And just when I thought the high was over, there he synchronized Wizkid and a little bit of Davido making sure I was gone. Too bad I had to work today, I have a feeling I would have left the lounge at 4 Am in the goddamn morning.

Anyway, the point I’m trying to put here is that this guy is a really good DJ and needs to be out there a bit more, he’s got incredible talent. I wonder if reads Ghafla, hmmm because he really needs to start doing something and I mean like from yesterday.
