Meet Sister To Elani’s Wambui And What She Reveals About Her (Photo)

Award winning singing group Elani is arguably one of the most recognized singing group in Kenya and Africa today. Its three members, Brian Chweya, Maureen Kunga and Wambui Ngugi, have built a music empire that is hard to penetrate.

Despite the fact that they haven’t released a song lately, the group always entertains whenever they hit studios to release something.

Wambui, particularly, has a stunning voice… and beauty… and brains. And a sister.

So meet Wambui’s elder sister, Wamaitha Ngugi.

3 years older than Wambui, Wamaitha is a very loving, generous but too frugal and an avid recycler, Wambui says.

According to Wambui, Wamaitha used to consider her (Wambui) a loser when they were little kids. She thought Wambui could not sing but here she is.

Wambui reveals that it was her sister who introduce her to womanhood, taught her how to be a grown up woman and why she needed to believe in herself.
