Meet Amos Okwemba, the CEO of AO Marketing East Africa. AO Marketing is the latest buzz in East African Market, setting high standards in marketing, media production, sound provisions that we are yet to witness in the marketing and entertainment scene. It strives to offer cutting edge technology and provide services for upcoming and established clients.

Like any other booming company, the man in charge of all the work and behind the accomplished organization, there’s always a story. A starting point that pushed the individual to where they are now. And  Amos is no different. Amos, was brought up in Molo. While at Egerton, he involved himself with part time events that got him few coins here and there that helped him stay afloat. He charges fellow students and counterparts as little as 100ksh. Amos has done it all in the trade! From selling insurance, bankloans, soap to hardware material while pursuing his Bachelors in Commerce and specializing in Banking;. Call him Jack of all trades. 

Fast forward; now Amos comfortably runs the AO Marketing organization with help from his dedicated employees. Just last year, he got to sign what happens to be the biggest contract the business has received. A launch of L’oreal/Nice ‘n’ Lovely in Uganda, PowerHorse in Tanzania and the launch of Truth Fm that happened at Weston. He got to have a one on one conversation with Hon. William Ruto. In the same year, he introduced South African dairy company, Woodlands Dairy (PTY) in Tanzania.

I hope you learn a thing or two from Amos, prosperity won’t fall at your laps. You have to strive for it. Education, hardwork, networks…the whole nine yards. He now doing Masters in Business administration – Strategic Management from Kenyatta University, and will be graduating in December.

He also loves rugby and chess, an all round man. Educated, successful and knows how to relax and have fun. I wonder if his single (asking for a friend).
