Meet The Young Man That Got Kenyans Talking From Meru County To Kiambu County,But Why?

The youth are the leaders of the future, is a very common saying that is used to give hope that there lies a brighter future someday.

But as youth aspire for placements and involvement in positions of leadership and other key, top national building roles, echoes about maturity and experience are viewed as a stumbling block to many young men.

So how does a young man make it pass all that to the top, Guess there’s no way out other than focus and hard-work plus building a network that cobwebs an individual to the necessary people.

Many young men and women, get to explore and experience such roles and positions at campus, college or university. The institutions offer a very good playing field if one is sharp and smart enough to tap in and harness the most from people, circumstances and all that happens there.

So, where is this coming to, as University of Nairobi students take to the streets protesting Babu Owino’s election as the SONU President, let’s look at why and how this young man is bound and ready to take the greats mantle.

At Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, JKUAT, where he works part time, Moses Mwenda Gitile famously known as Mossy is curving his way to being the next big thing, no doubt.

And how is the former Mount Kenya University student leader doing it, you wonder?
By noting down what issues and needs his fellow youth want looked into, the budding successful businessman who owns a fleet of executive car hire vehicles, is a darling to many, for steering projects for the youth.

Mosey is giving back to the community by aiding many in start ups, the youths in Juja and also his home Meru who are running  car wash spots, boda boda groups ,with advice and monetary assistance whenever urgency occurs. He has also taken part in fundraisings for schools, churches, a move he says should challenge Tigania East constituency leadership where he has drawn his support to Hon.Gichunge Kabeabea for MP come 2017.

Taking such responsibilities, Mwenda is drawing attention from all quarters, and majorly influential people like the philanthropic singer Jaguar, Senator Mike Sonko, minister of lands pro. Jacob Kaimenyi, Politicians like Paul Kobia, Jimna Mbaru and C.E.Os eg. Mr Kabeabea of Diamond Trust Merchant, Mr. Gichunge of Dye & Blair, and Presidential adviser, Dr. Kilemi.

The youth need men and women who understand what their primary and secondary needs are, individuals who have been through it all and Mwenda is one who resonates very well with them.

As Kenya heads to the general elections next year, individuals like Moses will play major roles in shaping outcomes and leaders hoping to take on leadership should involve people like him to represent and front for the youth.

Mwenda believes that he has deeply rooted himself, he understands and knows exact what is needed and how to deliver the dream to many Kenyans not only the youth.
