“We the Mwaura family willingly offer our beloved last born to any willing female suitors” Daystar graduate ‘auctioned’ by his family

Looking for suitors on social media, does it work really? The surge of people looking for potential sweethearts online can only be explained by sociologists.

Just about a week ago, a certain Jackson Onunga found the lover of his life after he advertised for a wife on posters which went viral on social media.

Even before Kenyans could forget about Onunga, another poster by a family ‘auctioning’ their last born son to female suitors is causing jitters on social media.

The Mwaura family is inviting potential female suitors to apply to be the wife of their 26-year-old son Gift Mirie Mwaura.

Gift, a Digital Manager at Kijiji Agency, told Nairobi News that the poster was only a prank by his twin brother who was getting back at him after he played the same joke on him on a WhatsApp group.

He further revealed that he has been receiving numerous text messages from ladies after his brother shared the poster on social networking sites.
