While Twitter continues to give celebrities, athletes, musicians, actors and others a platform to directly connect with their fans, the social networking site ‘upgrades’ their accounts.

Celebrated TV and radio host, ‘Mzazi’ Willy M Tuva joined Twitter in January 2012 and even though no imposter or “squatter” tweeted under a false name of his, the Mambo Mseto host has slipped into the handle with a “verified” blue check on his account.

Mostly, only high-profile people are granted “verified” status on their Twitter accounts and now the Citizen TV and Radio Citizen host has joined that league! Talk about being #TuVerified!
