Nairobi Half Life Wins 2 International Awards

After winning its first award in its first festival, Nairobi Half Life continues to gather even more awards in subsequent festivals.

In the space of one week, the film has won two audience awards at festivals it has screened at recently: Film Africa Festival in London and AFI Fest in Los Angeles.

The Audience Breakthrough Award at AFI Fest came with a $5,000. Other Audience Awards went to A Royal Affair (World Cinema), A Hijacking (New Auteurs) and Only The Young (Young Americans).

The AFI Fest served as NHL’s North American premiere and shared the festival with Oscar frontrunners like Armour, Kon-Tiki, Beyond The Hills and Pieta.
