It seems like only yesterday that a small group of 400 set out from Nairobi Chapel to plant a church off Mombasa Road. Here they are, ten years later, with branches opened across East Africa and recently just moved to Hill City at Athi River. I must confess God has been extremely good to Mavuno Church.
So this Sunday they will be celebrating ten years since their inception, with a grand music festival. So than the kawaida 9am and 12pm service, church service shall be at 9am only. Then from 11am, let the festivity begin already!
This event will have great acts in the gospel industry lined-up;

The event is dubbed ‘The Lockdown’. It shall be an outdoorsy event, a picnic-style theme. Now, attending it’s not Christian-based individuals, anyone is welcomed. In fact, drag that one friend that doesn’t like church.
It’s free of charge and Very family oriented. So them kids too, carry them. Even the nanny. In fact, carry the whole neighbor hood!
Nyama choma will be served, as well as a host of meals and drinks.
