Aremu Afolayan thanks his brother, Kunle Afolayan for denying him

Some days ago, Nollywood actor Aremu Afolayan made a social rant on the Nigeria Immigration service (here).  The response to the post was mostly not favorable and was also directed to his brother Kunle Afolayan.   The older brother then made a post about him just being a brother. Well, Aremu’s case has been looked into by the vice president and he made a post slamming his brother.

“He is my Brother not me”- Kunle Afolayan Distances himself from his Brother’s Viral Rant

Yesterday, a video of actor, Aremu Afolayan, who is also Kunle Afolayan’s brother ranting over the attitude of aviation workers, went viral.

Some people however, mistook the actor for his brother Kunle, who seems to be more popular than himself.

The October 1st producer has therefore now taken to social media to clear the air on the case of mistaken identity.

Kunle Afolayan distances himself from Aremu Afolayan’s rant.

In a social media post, the actor noted that he has gotten several messages and tags, as regards the video. Noting that he isn’t the one in the video, he stated that his brother, it is his brother, Aremu.

Good morning all,

I have been receiving a lot of calls and comments from people who are mistaken me for Aremu Afolayan in regards to this video.

I would like to officially state that this is not Kunle Afolayan, he is my brother not me.

There is frustration in the land but hey!

Thank you.

Ire.

Some social media users were however, quick to point out the fact that he does not show solidarity to his brother. This, therefor made him edit his post to read:

For clarity purpose. I think it is imperative I clear the air.
Aremu Afolayan is the one in this video and not Kunle Afolayan.

People have been responding to the video and tagging my handles as I have also received some calls.
Oloun a so’lu dero.
Ire.
