BBNiaja, See Gobe housemate, Bassey Ekpeyong has responded to those that criticize him for not being up to so much since his exit from the house.
Speaking at an interview with Sunday Scoop, the actor said he cannot do more than himself. No one can tell him he is not doing enough, he said.
According to the reality star, he has released some singles and he is set to release the third. He cannot focus on just acting and abandon his music career, he said.
Critics can say whatever they like, but we should remember that man is not God. As long as you are true to yourself and you know what you do, it is okay. You cannot do above yourself and no one can tell me that I am not doing enough because they don’t know me.
My growth has been unexpected and God has been surprising me. I am into music; I host events and I am an actor. I have released two singles and a video. Before the year runs out, I plan to put out my third single and second video. I am vast in entertainment; I cannot pursue music and ignore acting.
He is currently part of Africa Majic’s series, Ajoche alongside fellow ex housemate, TBoss.
Since the inception of the Big Brother Naija show, it has been able to produce stars that have made a mark in the Nigerian entertainment industry. Such are the likes of Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Soma and Bassey.
While Ebuka is unarguably the biggest name so far from the BBN platform, Soma and Bassey are aslo making progress in the industry.
Though Soma’s dreams in the house was short lived as the first evictee from the See Gobe season, he has been a success since his exit. Bassey, on the other hand, has also made his mark as a singer, host and a brand ambassador. Recall that he was rumoured to be romantically involved with singer, Debie Rise.
In a picture shared online, the three young men however looks like ready take home snacks. ‘It may seem as though’ they have something cooking. It could also be that they are just friends joined together by the BBN platform.
