Superstar disc jokey, Florence Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, is set to bless some people with one million naira.

The DJ who just released a song, ‘Currency’, featuring L.A.X., has activated a new challenge to this regards.

DJ Cuppy to gift 1million naira to ten people.

According to her, the challenge is open to her Instagram followers. She will gift one hundred thousand naira each to successful participants of the challenge. The winners, however, will be picked at a random selection. The challenge is tagged the currency challenge.

She gave instructions for the challenge in her post.

Billionaire daughter, Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola, known as DJ Cuppy, is currently taking some chill time out in Ibiza Spain, to spend some time with her best friends. According to her, it is a culture for she and her friends to spend sometime vacationing every year, in Ibiza.

She however, reveals that she has been friends  with them for over twenty years.

Traveling to the luxury location in a private jet, the DJ is obviously having a good time with her friends. From what looks like girl gossip time to poolside pictures, the Otedola heiress has been feeding the eyes of all who care to look, well.

DJ Cuppy says criticism makes her better.

Even though she is constantly dragged on social media for her opinions among other things, billionaire daughter, DJ Cuppy has revealed that she has npthing against criticism.

This was in a tweet where she revealed that criticism makes her better. Instead of being bothered by it, she says she rather likes it.

She wrote;

I like criticism, it makes me stronger

Recall that the DJ was recently attacked for stating her stands on feminism. This was after she said in an interview that she stopped being a feminist because she didn’t really understand it. Read here.

DJ Cuppy says she used to be a feminist but stopped for some reasons.

Celebrity DJ, DJ Cuppy, has revealed that there was a time when she used to have feminist tendencies. According to her, she stopped because she didn’t want to portray double standards.

This was in an interview with City FM, where she noted that she gave up on the ideology when she found out that she didn’t fully understand it.

Excerpts from the interview by LIB below;

I don’t like people that are hypocrites, right? So people are out there speaking about women’s rights and then behind closed doors they are doing kind of like crazy things…

I just feel like I will never come out as a feminist. I’m in a male-dominated industry and I have certain scenarios where I have to… I’m not saying I have to water myself down, but I deal with men on a day to day basis and I realize that, they’re always going to think they’re better than women.

“And that’s the issue that feminism addresses,” the host replied at this point.

 

Cuppy continued:

Right. But I don’t think it’s gonna solve it. 

It’s almost like me, I used to have this issue with where people thought my dad made my career. But I’m like, you know what, I can’t kill myself over it. You cannot change the way people think, all you can change is what you do and how you act.

I cannot change what you think about me. I can try and influence it but you’re entitle to your opinion.

So if we go around as women, trying to change the way men think, we’re going to tire ourselves out. What we should focus on our own energy, focus on achieving our own goals and working on our own selves. 

 

She adds:

I think it’s important to talk about these issues and bring them to the surface but we must also limit the amount of attention you give them because, lets be honest, the more energy you put into one thing, the less you can into another.

Yesterday, an admirer took to twitter to announce that he needs DJ Cuppy in his life. This got the DJ’s attention as she quickly replied him.

How lucky the admirer must have felt when he noticed that he has gotten the attention of his crush. Well, maybe not what he expected, she gave him a reply and it have left us feeling sorry for him.

The DJ in her reply told the admirer that he needs Jesus in his life as even she needs Jesus.

He wrote;

I need a DJ Cuppy in my life.”

She replied;

No, you need Jesus, Even DJ Cuppy needs Jesus. #GodIsGreat

DJ Cuppy is the creator of her own success

DJ and musician, DJ Cuppy in her interview with E-daily said that she isn’t famous or successful because of her father’s status. She said she has thrived in the industry as a female DJ because she wanted to be not because she is a billionaire’s daughter.

Relating herself with her fellow silver spoon born artist, Davido she said:

“The only difference between Davido and I is that he decided to use the influence as an advantage from an early stage. So Davido was like i am omo baba olowo (OBO). Take it or leave it i’m not that kind of person, he was smart though because before you can even do anything, he has already told you he is the son of a millionaire. He did his brand thing well and he is about that lush life, he lives large and he is not apologizing for who he is”

No doubt, DJ Cuppy is an executive DJ.

Nigerian DJ and daughter of oil mogul, Femi Otedola, DJ Cuppy, seems to be making waves as she is always spotted in high places, among the ‘strong’ ones.

The DJ who recently attended the Global Partnership for Education Financing Conference in Dakar, Senegal was spotted doing things.

The event which held on the 3rd of February had the Senegalese and French president in attendance. These presidents however didn’t leave the event without learning a thing or two about ‘DJing’. This ofcourse if thanks to DJ Cuppy’s tutelage.

In a video clip shared on YouTube, both presidents were seen listening with keen ears as the DJ taught them her skills.

DJ Cuppy has already completed the fees of one of the students.

Billionaire’s daughter, DJ Cuppy has announced that she will be sending 10 stents to the university this year. The DJ made this announcement on Twitter where she stated that the first of the students is off to UniLag.

Having completed with the necessary processes, sh gleefully announced that her first student is off to school.This means that there is still chance accommodate nine more students in her scholarship funds.
