BBNaija Winner, Efe, Claps Back at ‘Concerned’ Social Media Troll

Since his emergence as the winner of the second edition of the BBNaija show, Efe, like most celebrities, has had his fair share of social media backlash.

The backlash got worse after he ventured into music. Sadly, unlike his person, his music wasn’t as popular. This made Nigerian make a swift turn from being supportive of him.

The latest episode of his not-so-good experience with fans happened on Twitter.

Efe and his followers come for each other.

The singer Tweeted, “You can’t stop my journey” so a follower seized the chance to ask about his business, saying: “Efe na you be this? How market?”. Let’s just say the follower didn’t see what followed coming at all as the reality star’s response was not in any way weak at all. He wrote: “Market bad oh.. nobody gree buy your sense”.

The BBN stars followers, however, did not take his side, as they felt his response was uncalled for.

Seyi Law begs Nigerians to forgive Efe, said he reacted out of anger

Seyi Law begs for Efe

The 2017 winner of Big Brother Naija, Efe, in a series of posts on Twitter, said he is done pleasing his fans who do nothing but criticize him. He said he is done pleasing them as their money expired the day BBN ended. Ofcourse, Nigeria tagged him ungrateful after the post. Now comedian Seyi Law pleads on his behalf on social media.

See his post below…

“When the world hurts you in criticism in the name of fans and wants you to take it in good faith, forgetting that words kill faster than the guns, but won’t take your words in the same light. When the world makes a man lose his willpower to his own choice and don’t expect him to fight back, but would prefer he is drained in their own choice. The sadness and fear that enveloped me is killing.
There is no doubt there is a place for the fans and as an artiste, you must be cautious of how you walk there. @efemoney has spoken out of anger and made a mistake which might be justified, but could be avoided. We all make mistakes and he who is above them can crucify me. He has chosen a path for himself and you care too much trying to help him avoid mistakes, don’t be the one to make him make more of it.
Let’s forgive him and let him grow and he might just learn to do it right or decide to let it get all go, but let him have a say in his own life. I apologise on his behalf to those hurt and hope we can all embrace peace.

Every man to his life, let him live. God bless you.
SEYILAW.”
