Omotola Jolade Gets Beautiful Artwork from a Talented Fan

Actress, Omotola Jolade is left in awe, after a talented fan of hers gave her a rare gift of an artwork.

Taking to Instagram to appreciate the fan, the actress noted that she and her husband, who were the faces on the artwork, didn’t take a picture like the one on the artwork.

She, however, stated that she has no idea of the way the artist was able to pull the work off.

As a form of appreciaton, the actress urged her followers to acknowledge the artist.

She wrote:

Omotola Jolade Berates Nigeria Over Impressive Experience in Ghana

Nollywood star, Omotola Jolade was in Ghana over the weekend for an award ceremony and se ws impressed by most of the things she experienced.

Among other, the airport services and their currency were top on the list of things that she experienced. Noting that the neighbouring West African state has a better economy than Nigeria, she asked that her country should get busy.

Nigerians clamoured for ‘Ghana must go’, she said, but now that they have gone, she asked if they are moving faster.

Omotola says her phones were returned to her.

Among the highlight of her experience, however, was the fact that her phones were returned to her from the place she forgot them. She therefore says she would not talk about the airport because Tuface has already done that.

Her words below;

Okay… So Economists , come and analyze oh… this Amongst other things was quite alarming on my trip to Ghana.
Hmm… I changed N10,000 (Ten thousand Naira) and it was only worth …..
C120 ( One hundred and twenty cedis)
Not C1,200 and certainly not 12,000 cedis but a mere 120 cedis!!!
1 dollar in ghana is 4.8 cedis !

“I was Born Muslim”- Omotola Jolade Reveals as she Shares new Photo

Nollywood actress, Omotola Jolade Ekehinde has revealed that she has not always been a christian as she was born in the Islamic faith.

This was in a picture which she shared on her social media page where she is seen wearing a veil. In her post,, the actress talks about religious tolerance as she reveals her religious background.

She however reveals that she was brought up in Kaduna.

Omotola Jolade’s words on religious tolerance below;

Although I was born Muslim… Today I practice Christianity. However, growing up in Kaduna … I’ve witnessed some horrors that eyes should Never see… All because of Religious divides and intolerance…Our Faith should make us better Humans… Any Act that does not show love does not serve God or Humanity.  Love your Neighbour …. Omotola Jolade Named Among 100 Most Influential People from Africa

Nollywood actress, Omotola Jolade, has again, made the country proud as she has been named among the 100 Most Influential People of African Descent.

The actress took to social media to announce her recent feet. She received this honour at the 73rd UN General Assembly in New York.

Omotola Jolade honoured for UN’s IDPAD.

The award honours distinguished personalities from 50 different countries in the continent. It is however in support of the United Nations International Decade for People of African Descent (IDPAD) 2015 – 2024.

Taking to her social media page, the actress appreciated the award with the caption:

Honoured to be one of the Most Influential 100 People of African Descent at the United Nations by @mipad100

Recall that she was once named among the 100 Most Influential People in the World. Congratulations to her.

Omotola Jolade Shades Women for Dressing Half Naked to the AMVCAs

Omotola acknowledges comments about the way women dressed for AMVCAs.

Over the weekend, Africa’s most coveted movie awards, the AMVCAs, held at  the Eko Hotels and Suits. Gathering celebrities from different genres, the red carpet was greeted by style and pageantry amidst beauty.

One of the spectators of the event has however, commended Omotola Jolade Ekehinde for her dress. According to the social media user, unlike the men, most women decided to expose their bodies. This is asides Omotola who dressed moderately, she said.

In response to this, the actress took to her page  to acknowledge the post. She however, took a step further to add a thank you note to it.

The ongoing AMVCA at Eko hotels and suites, did you notice the trend of fashion among men and women?
The men were well suited looking so modest and handsome while the women were almost nude, though they look so beautiful but you can see that there dresses are either showing their upper thighs or boobs etc.
Except for Omotola Jalade aka Omosexy, her dress is so lovely and divine, with her awesome curves.
Other women celebrities should goan learn dress sense from her.

Nollywood actress, Omotola Jolade recently took to her Instagram page to answer some questions from fans who asked about a range of things concerning her.

Answering that her husband wasn’t always rich, she noted that he had prospect. As to why she no longer appear in movies, the actress says movie makers can’t afford her. On whether she quarrels with her husband, she answered on the affirmative, stating that though their fights never get nasty. On why she isn’t friends with her fellow actress Genevieve Nnaji, the actress gave a cheeky answer.

She also spoke on how she got her nickname ‘Omosexy’ and some other things.

A fan of Omotola Jolade claims to have been embarrassed by the actress.

Nollywood actress, Omotol Jolade is being called out by a fan who claims to have been snubbed by the actress at the Lagos airport.

The fan who sent an open letter to the actress by sending a mail to Information Naija. According to her, she ran to the actress at the sight of her, out of admiration. To her surprise, she was given a cold and mean look by the actress.

She however notes her displeasure at the way she was treated, stating that she would never great her again.

According to her, she had met other celebrities in the past, who treated her better. She also stated that she didn’t expect such treatment from the actress, considering her kind looks.

The day was the most embarrassing day of her life, she said.

Actress, Omotola Jolade Ekehinde Set to Celebrate 40th Birthday with a Five Day Event

The celebration is expected to climax with a grand ball.

Nollywood actress, Omotola Jolade Ekehinde is set to celebrate her 40th Birthday in grand style.

The actress who turns 40 on the 7th of February sets preparation rolling to welcome her new age in style. The mother of 4 is set to make another landmark in the industry with her birthday celebration.

The Industry has had quite a number of her female stars celebrate themselves at Forty and Omotola is set to join the list. She will be officially fortified on the 7th of next month.

The five day event which looks like it is going to be strictly by invitation will start on the 7th through to the 11th of February. The series of events will end with a grand ball.

The events which has been tagged Omotola4point is set to be the talk of the town as celebrities and dignitaries are expected to be in attendance.

The actress in an Instagram post stated that she could not hide it anymore as she made plans for the event known.

“I thought I was going to die.”

Actress, Omotola Jolade Ekehinde, in a live show stated the dangers being addicted to social media; especially the blogs. Giving reasons why she cut herself off the system, she disclosed that she was an addict herself.

There were times she depended heavily on blogs as she used to check daily to see what was being said. She revealed that she made the best decision of her life years ago and she doesn’t regret it.

“When I stopped, I thought I was going to die, I even defended it that it was necessary to check these blogs as an actor… But I didn’t die,” She said.

The actress said that she stopped checking blogs because she didn’t care what was being said about her any more. She is at peace with herself, she added.

“Social media is addictive and before you know it, it ruins relationships” she submitted.

Social media, she said makes you do things for others and not yourself because you post only what people want to see.

We would recall that Omotola, while congratulating the Wellingtons advised them to keep their marriage away from social media. They should keep their lives private she advised.
