X3m music songbird, Simi and her mother Mrs. Shola, seem to have a very cordial relationship that goes beyond that of a mother and child.

This is always evident in their social media interactions as well as the way the singer speaks of her.

Yesterday being the first of January 2019, the dotting mother tweeted about starting a Crèche somewhere around Ketu, Lagos.

In the rush of sending her message however, something seem to have gone wrong so instead of asking for a retweet, she asked for a retreat.

Simi responds to her mum’s tweet.

The not so impressed celebrity daughter therefore took the chance to troll her mum a bit. Noting what was wrong with the tweet, she reminded her mother that no one is going to retreat for her.

The mother also responded, thanking God that her educational funds on Simi didn’t go to waste.

After  Adekunle Gold tweeted that he needs a holiday, his boo, Simi replied that he should come and spend his holiday with her.

Several times, the singer and her mother have shared tweets that got people smiling. Recall, however, that she once begged her mother to block her on Twitter.

Simi and her mother are dishing goals again.

In these new tweets, they are both showing off to the world that the relationship between them is like that of friends or sisters.

The dotting mother seized a chance to tell the world how her lovely daughter got her voice. Simi, on the other hand, also responds to her. The mum however, also took the chance to take the singer on a trip down memory lane.

Simi is disappointed at those that are making comments against Noble Igwe.

Singer, Simi, has joined the list of celebrities that are supporting popular blogger, Noble Igwe for his comments against fraudsters.

Recall that the Noble recently drew the attention of EFFC to areas and possible professions that have become a harbour for fraudsters.

This according to some people is wrong. According to them, the blogger, with his statement, has destroyed people’s source of livelihood. They called it snitching.

In a post on Instagram, Simi has stated her disappointment in Nigerians. According to her, if Nigerians think this way, we have no reasons to complain about the way foreigners treat us,

She wrote;

We complain about how the rest of the world sees and treats us. They hear ‘Nigeria’ and the first thing that comes to mind is ‘fraudster’ they are afraid to let us in their countries, our passport makes them extra search us at the airport etc..

“It makes me feel so sad and ashamed because our potential is so rich and so overlooked and honestly truly thought we all felt that way.

“So I’m genuinely surprised that anyone is rooting for this BS. Is scamming people now ok?

“Did I miss something? Why are there so many people defending it against Noble, am I crazy because if we are thinking like this, don’t we deserve whatever mess we find ourselves in?

Opinions, however, continue to defer, to this regards.

Simi thrills fans as she surprises them with the release of ‘Gone for Good’ video.

Today, singer, Simi is a year older and to mark her birthday, she has released a video for her song, ‘Gone for Good’. This, according to her, is in response to popular demand from fans who have been anticipating the video for long.

The song, she said is one of the most loved from the ‘Simisola’ album.

She wrote;

Simi is a year older and grateful.

Popular Nigerian singer, Simisola, fondly called Simi, today, marks the anniversary of her birth and is obviously thankful for all that she has become over the years.

To commemorate this day, she shared some beautiful pictures of herself on her Instagram page. In one of the photos, she shared a message of thanks to God and to everyone that is celebrating with her.

She wrote;
