Nigeria’s First Ever Female Standup Comedian Gets A Show in Kenya

One lady is set to dazzle on stage at Eric Omondi’s African Kings of Comedy show next week.

Mandy is the undisputed Queen of Nigerian comedy. She was the first woman to do stand up comedy in Nigeria and ever since has performed in numerous African countries headlining shows both in the continent and globally.

Just last week Mandy was in Uganda for the African Queens of comedy where she clearly carried the day. Mandy is a must watch at the comedy extravaganza. Besides Mandy, other comedians at the show will be Uganda’s Patric Salvador, Ann Kaansime and Kotilda, Zimbabwe’s Carl Ncube.

The Africa Kings of Comedy event will take place on 26th October between 6.00 p.m. and 11.00 p.m. at the Kenyatta International Conference Centre. Regular tickets to the show will retail at Kshs. 1,000 and Kshs. 2,000 for VIP tickets.
