“It is now Clear that he was Speaking out of Ignorance and does not Understand Kenyan Politics” Governor Mutua Attacks President Obama
The year was 2006 and the man of the day was none other but Alfred Mutua who had assembled all the Kenyan press for a briefing.
“It is now clear that he was speaking out of ignorance and does not understand Kenyan politics. We earlier thought he was mature in his assessment of Kenyan and African politics.” Was his first utterance.
And he continued, “But we forgive him because it is his first time in the senate and he is yet to mature into understanding issues of foreign policy,” He was referring to President Obama but at the time he was a just a mere senator with little to bring forth.
While speaking at a University forum, he had bashed the Kibaki administration for graft and Mutua was hearing none of it.
