A Nyeri politician who is a whole engineer becomes the subject of ridicule after he showed up in a chopper to just launch a wooden bridge which didn’t even cost a meager Ksh 50,000

Nyeri politician Ephraim Maina is the latest entrant in the Kenyan political height of mediocrity hall of fame after she did the unthinkable.

He fuelled his chopper and flew all the way to his home ward, Kabaru ward just to launch a wooden bridge which by the look of it didn’t cost more than 50K.

Ephraim Maina who is actually an engineer is the former MP for Mathira and he’s eyeing the Nyeri Gubernatorial seat after the passing on of Nderitu Gachagua. He had tried to clinch the senatorial seat in 2013 loosing terribly to Hon Mutahi Kagwe.

The bridge was a way of redeeming himself as the gesture horribly backfired on his face. He joins other politicians who have spent millions of shillings to launch hogwash projects like electricity polls and issuing of wheelbarrows.
