Out Goes Masaku, In Comes Naivasha

Nairobi is gradually losing its spot as the biggest entertainment spot. After Masaku 7s and all the madness that went down, the next crazy party goes to Hippo Camp, Naivasha where the inaugural Great East Africa Marathon will be held.

August 9th will see 2014’s biggest line up of artists troop to Naivasha for the after-party of the marathon. Experienced athletes and Olympians from across East Africa are said to have confirmed participation.

According to the organizers, Candy n Candy Records, the Hippo Camp was picked because it provides revellers with that out of town and in the wild feel.

“Our main mission is to create a united East African community that’s united against terror by creating awareness and community watch,” says Candy n Candy management.

The artist line-up is to die for with Kenyan and Tanzanian heavyweights having conformed.  Tanzanian singer Baby Madaha, Atlanta rapper Danny Kay, comedian Eric Omondi, DJ Kaytrixx,DJ Deeskul, DJ Creme, DNA, Wyre, Majirani, Ng’ang’alito, Jua Cali and MC Denis Maundu.
