The pain of a mother! Wema Sepetu’s mother expresses her agony as police continue to lock her daughter in filthy cell

Wema Sepetu remain locked in police cell after she was arrested following the crackdown on drug traffickers by the Tanzanian government.

The Tanzanian socialite was arrested alongside other celebrities after President Magufuli ordered the police to leave no stone unturned in the fight against drug abuse.

Wema Sepetu’s mother, Miriam Sepetu, has been left in agony as her daughter continues staying in filthy police cell.

Miriam expressed the pain she was feeling as she said she couldn’t comment on her daughter’s incarceration until the police are done with their investigations.

“Kama mzazi nimeumia sana ila kwa sasa ninawaomba mniache maana siwezi kuongea kitu chochote kuhusu hili, hadi hapo polisi itakapotoa maamuzi yao ya uchunguzi wanaoufanya, ndiyo nitajua nini niseme,” Miriam was quoted as saying by a Tanzanian publication.
