Pastor Ng’ang’a Released On A 1M Bond

Pastor James Ng’ang’a Maina has been released on a cash bail as he awaits to hear what the court says concerning his case where he is facing charges for the murder of Mercy Njeri a month ago through reckless driving.

The Neno Evangelism Church leader was released on a cash bail of Kshs.500,000 or a 1 million bond with a surety of the same amount.

According to Limuru Court Senior Principal Magistrate Timothy Thanchu, the prosecution failed to provide sufficient reasons why Ng’ang’a should be denied bail as he had cooperated with police during investigations into the Limuru accident that killed Mercy Njeri, reports Citizen TV.

The three other suspects who aided Pastor Ng’ang’a to cover up the accident were also released on a cash bail of 50k or a 100k bond with a surety of the same.

Pastor Ng’ang’a will be heading home after spending two nights in the Gigiri Police cells and will meet the reality that thugs stormed his Karen home early today and stole property of unknown value.
