Politics Aside, Dr. Kidero Is A Fine Preacher. Here Is What He Did After Meeting Gospel Maestro Don Moen

Many a time we are so much into politics with our negative perceptions to an extent that it has never crossed our minds that apart from politics, there is something good politicians can do.

We tend to believe all they do is lie through outrageous and well-crafted campaigns, steal tax payers money and enrich themselves as those they are supposed to serve languish in abject poverty and despondency.

Well, it is time we gathered ourselves and look things from a completely new perspective. This is after Nairobi Governor Dr. Evans Kidero proved us wrong with mind-boggling yet heart-warming sermon through his social media account.

However, the timing of the sermon is a bit questionable because of the time it came.

Dr, Kidero met American gospel singer Doen Moen who has been in the country lately for a series of inspirational and motivational talks and songs.

Don Moen is a popular name among the Christian fraternity in Kenya and his songs always inspire many a believer. He is highly regarded by Kenyan Christians.

Kidero declared his joy at meeting Moen and his team who paid him a courtesy visit at his offices in the capital and was quick to preach a few verses from the Bible in support of the singer’s course.

His masterly and expounding of the Bible for a moment will leave you wondering why Kidero chose politics at the expense of the gospel.

Kidero was also quick to remind the singer of how safe and beautiful Kenya is in the wake of travel advisories issued by the West to its citizens.

Here is what he said when he met Moen and his team:

kidero

Don Moen, Lenny LeBlanc and your entire members of your great International Christian band. I was very honored that you came to Nairobi City.

Your worship songs have strengthened most of us in many moments of our lives. In times of Joy we have celebrated Jesus…… in terms of great challenges truly God has always made a way.

God brought you to not only worship with Kenyans but to strengthen us as well as restore confidence to the world that our land is a safe haven to come and relax while seeing the great beauty of our mountains; our great plains of the Mara; our pristine beaches at the Coast; while enjoying our rich and diverse cultural moments. KENYA HAKUNA MATATA

The word of God says in Psalms 127: verse 1 “Except the lord keep the City, The watchman wakes but in vain.”

Thank you Don because today you remind us of this: Our Lord is in charge of this City and I know that all is well…… and it shall remain well to his glory.
