Poll: Who is Kenya’s Best Audio Producer?

Ladies and Gentlemen. It’s time to separate the wheat from the chaff, time to deteremine “nani baba yao”. Over the years a lot of music producers have come and gone and the ones in the list below are the ones who have withstood the test of time.

So today we ask, who among them is the best of all time? (Remember to vote)

Special shout-out to the following music producers who putting them on this poll would be disrespecting them. They have been doing this trade for 20+ years!

Mr. Japheth Kasanga – a renowned musician, music producer and publisher not only in Kenya but also in East and Central African Regions.

Mr. Justus M. Ngemu –  has been in the music industry for over 20 years both as a composer artiste and producer of sound recording.

Ms Suzanne Gachukia – From 1995, as a composer and band leader of Zannaziki, she has released three albums and a slew of singles that again have helped shape the Kenyan music pop identity over the last twelve years.

Ms Julie E. Gill – a Director at A.I. Records with over 28 years experience in the Music Industry. She has worked with the Registrar-General’s Office on the drawing up of the new Copyright Act, as well as participating in the drawing up of the Anti-Counterfeit Goods bill.

Mr. Lee Kanyottu –  is a director of Studio Sawa Sound Ltd, a music production company that has been in the music business for over 30 years. He has been in music production for over 10 years.

Mr. Francis Omeno –  is one of the founding directors of Ogopa Deejays
