Pregnant Or Absurdity? Mugo Wa Wairimu Presents Documents In Court To Prove He Was Admitted To A Maternity Ward

Fake doctor Mugo Wa Wairimu produced documents in court to convince a magistrate he had been admitted to a maternity ward.

Mugo is facing charges of rape, administering a sedative and 10 counts of operating unregistered clinics. The fake doctor was arrested in 2014 after a Citizen TV exposé exposed him for raping his female client at his Prestige Health Care clinic in Githurai 44.

He was released in 2015 on a bond of Kes 5 million with an alternative cash bail of Kes 1 million. Mugo has been in and out of court countless times as his case continues to drag.

The quack yesterday had a date with Magistrate Daniel Ogembo at the Milimani court. The prosecution made an application to have him in police custody until the rape case is heard and determined arguing that the fake doctor was intentionally delaying his case by skipping court sessions and interfering with witnesses.

Mugo defended himself revealing he had been admitted to a maternity clinic that’s why he couldn’t attend the court proceedings.

He even presented documents to prove he had been admitted to a maternity ward. The magistrate obviously couldn’t buy Mugo’s half-baked trickery and he decided slap him with a 10 day detention at Industrial Area Remand Prison.
