The most delicious food is found along the roadside, in a shifty joint or in places like City market, Kariobangi and Kenyatta Market.

And even the president knows where the good stuff is at. He joined Sakaja, Starehe MP Maina Kamanda , Mathare Member of Parliament Stephen Kariuki , Mike Sonko and Rachel Shebesh for a nyama choma meal at a Kenyatta market joint, a far cry from the 5-star hotel he is used to.
