Radio Citizen has a New Hot Presenter

Following the departure of Maggie Waithera AKA Mtoto wa Kike earlier in the year to rival Milele FM, Radio Citizen’s mid-morning show, Chapa Kazi, was dented.

For some time now, Jeridah Andayi has been riding solo but not anymore. Starting Monday, June 23^rd, Syombua Mwele will be co-hosting the mid-morning show alongside Jeridah. Yesterday was her last day at Musyi FM ahead of her Radio Citizen debut.

The Radio Presenter of the Year 2011 posted a farewell message to her Musyi FM fans saying;

“It has been real, it has been fun. The most exciting moment of my career was to be crowned the Radio Presenter of the Year-Groove Awards in 2011. I have made friends and fans like you and I’m forever grateful to God. Thank you for believing in me while on Musyi FM. I will miss you, my colleagues, the studio and the language of course. Catch me soon on Radio Citizen FM, CHEMI CHEMI YA UKWELI 106.7. Baraka.”

Meanwhile, Syombua will still bring you sports news during the 7PM bulletin, Jungu La Mwanaspoti, as usual.
