Relief Workers and CNN Crew Under Fire in Gaza

CNN correspondent Ben Wedeman and his crew were following attempts by Red Cross and the Palestinian Red Crescent to retrieve the dead and wounded in the embattled Gaza City neighbourhood Shejaia, when they were caught in heavy crossfire, and forced to double back.

The footage shows the difficulties encountered by rescue and relief workers, but also the devastation caused by ‘round-the-clock’ shelling in this Gaza neighbourhood.
