REST IN PEACE : Former Ukambani Minister Has Lost Her Beloved Husband.
Former Kathiani MP and Assistant Minister in the Kibaki Administration is bereaved.
Hon. Wavinya Ndeti,who is vying for the Machakos Gubernatorial seat,has lost her Nigerian husband Dolamu Henry Oduwole whom she wed in a colorful traditional wedding in Mua Hills,Machakos County in 2008.
Breaking the news on her Facebook page,the former powerful leader said;
“I am deeply saddened to announce the demise of my beloved husband, Dolamu Henry Oduwole, who passed on early this morning. He fought the good fight and as a family, we pray that God will grant us strength to endure this devastating loss. May God grant my families in Kenya and Nigeria, our friends, partners and the people of Machakos a comforting hand during this trying time. Rest well my Darling, till we meet again. Godspeed,”
Wavinya and Oduwole met in the UK in the early 90’s where they were both pursuing higher education.
Prior to the traditional wedding,the two lovebirds had had a lavish Church wedding back in the UK
Mr. Henry Oduwole came from a wealthy royal Nigerian family as his brother was also a elected Member of Parliament in Nigeria,Lagos State MP Tule Adejare.
Mr. Oduwole,a certified Public Accountant,died at the Nairobi Hospital where he had been admitted. He died early Sunday morning of drastic High Blood pressure.
He is survived by his wife Wavinya and three children,Charles,Daniel and Alicia.
