The Revolution HAS been Televised! By One Young Man with a Huge Dream!

At only 24 years old , Beauregard Nyange has already started making serious media waves as he Heads the first ever Signs TV station in Kenya exclusively dedicated to the disabled in the society.

As the Chief Broadcasting Executive at Signs TV, a new TV station that has challenged norms and revolutionized TV trends in Kenya,  Mr. Nyange or Buddy as he’s popularly known in the deaf community,  has set out to bride the gap between the abled and the disabled and to bring communication and entertainment to the asses that have been sidelined and overlooked for a long time
Signs TV, which has been on air for almost a month now, is the initiative of some souls who decided that it was time other members of society enjoyed movies and music and arts on television just like the rest of the society.
And unlike traditional TV, all the content broadcast on Signs TV is done purely in signs language just to better tap to the deaf viewer who actually is the biggest target market.
“We realized that the deaf and the disabled have for long been shut out from entertainment and the wonder of TV and music to heal souls and create entertainment and that’s how signs TV came into being. We came to fill the void and to reach out to our other brothers and sisters in the society with something uniquely theirs .” he says.
Signs TV , which will officially launch in May 2017 at a grand event that also seeks to attract High Profile Guests from Kenya and abroad is already the home of Kenya’s premier Deaf Rapper Lal Daggy who won’t have to contend with favoritism and a biased media anymore to get his music out and get airplay.

Buddy who still is a student at the Multimedia University says that its time that Kenyans also learned the signs language in order to interact better with members of the deaf community and also understand their world and language.
“We shall also be teaching sign language on TV. This TV is for all members to watch …even the people with no disability can enjoy and still be entertained even though all of our programs,  movies and shows will be conducted entirely in sign language but with normal audio, ” he says.
Now, the station which is already up and running is welcoming all advertisers and any other  persons ready to do business with them as they already have started making a mark and eating into the viewership.
” I couldn’t be happier. Signs TV is now my home and like a dream come true. This really is a blessing as I will now not have to struggle to find airplay and to also get to breach the people I hope to with my music . This truly is a blessing and I hope we can grow even bigger and Kenya can finally learn to understand us and appreciate our talents as well ….” Says Lal Daggy .
Signs TV is available on all set top boxes and is slates for one massive launch in the next few months.
