With a gun on my head, I would honestly attest that I believe the most talked about and controversial gospel singer that ever graced Nairobi scene, is Ringtone.

Even without trying, Ringtone Apoko will be on peoples tongues. If his not causing feuds with Jaguar, him fueling his newly bought Range Rover in the middle of the road, his 1.2 million court case fraud…you get the gist, people will wag their tongues. Even with all the scandals haters try throwing at him, I must say his fans are very loyal. And weirdly he always emerges stronger.

What most might not know about this very decorated gospel artiste is that he actually comes from a humble background and his group of fans seriously don’t give two sh!ts about the scandals thrown at his face, if the numbers his concert is anything to go by. So haters, take several seats, cause he is been here and is here to stay. And will always reign as best performer in Kenya. Don’t believe me? Then get this.

Just last week, Ringtone was in Murang’a. The guy filled a whole stadium! He was the only artist performing mind you. His performance was huge, unfortunately at some point during the concert, there was a stampede. People got hurt and were rushed immediately to the hospital.

So the news reached Ghafla and we contacted Ringtone, he shared with us the clip then expressed his empathy to the individuals that were hurt and in hospital and wished them quick recovery.
