Bonnie Mbuli denies throwing shade to Bonang

Bonnie Mbuli has defended herself after making a joke about Bonang Matheba’s “Girls with Vineyards” saga.

Bonang was trending last week   after her fans incorrectly assumed that she had bought a vineyard. Queen B set tongues wagging when she tweeted a picture of herself at the Rust en Vrede Wine Estate in Stellenbosch.

“….I’ve always wanted a vineyard…” she captioned the image.

A short while later, the 30-year-old shared a video of herself signing a contract at the vineyard. Her fans put two and two together, and declared that Bonang had just bought a vineyard.

The hashtag, #GirlsWithVineyards, was soon trending on Twitter. But it turned out that B had not bought the vineyard, and was just having lunch there.

The confusion resulted in a hilarious challenge that saw people stating things they have always wanted, while pretending to sign contracts for them.
