Cassper Nyovest did not disappoint with his performance at the SA’s Most Wanted Youth Celebration in Pretoria on Saturday.
The muso was part of the youth concert held at the Sun Arena in Time Square Pretoria on Youth Day.

Cassper Nyovest shocked his fans and followers when he revealed that he turned down an offer to meet Beyonce. This was supposedly to happen this weekend.
Cassper says he got an invite from an important person who would have made it possible for him to meet Beyonce. He however decided to get his priorities right. He had work to do and could not make it to the concert.

Just last week, Cassper Nyovest announced that he would be collaborating with Nike. This was to participate in the Berlin Half Marathon that took place on Sunday.
He ran the 21km race in less than two and a half hours.
Cassper was so proud of himself, and took to Instagram to tell fans about it.

Electrician Ettiene Conradie is one of Cassper Nyovest’s biggest fans. The Johannesburg based man has all of Cassper’s albums, and even has a tattoo of the musician.
Therefore to show his love, Ettiene decided to get Cassper’s Family Tree logo tattooed on his arm back in December, 2017.

Cassper Nyovest managed meet David Beckham while he is in Johannesburg promoting whiskey brand Haig Club.

Cassper Nyovest was not having it on twitter after a phone tried to riducule him offer him dropping out.
Cassper took the hate in his stride and told a fan that for him it was all about being happy in life.
“I’m not about to flex about how much money I have or how I’m richer than people who went to school. My point is, to each his own. You got money? Good!! You got an education? Good!! Are u happy with your decisions? Now that’s where it gets tricky. Do you.”
The rapper told another fan that education is important and without it he wouldn’t have been able to read or write, but his path was different.
“Education is a great tool but we are all different, we are here for different purposes and most importantly we learn or take in information in different ways, find yours.”

Cassper Nyovest once again caused an outroar on Twitter with some followers accusing him of “broke shaming” people who are not on his level.
The rapper, whose rags-to-riches journey is well known, doesn’t miss the chance to speak about the power of money.
Just last month Cassper was hauled over the coals for telling fans “to travel more”.
Followers hit back telling him that travelling was a luxury that many of them just couldn’t afford.
Now, in his latest string of tweets, Cassper took the opportunity once again to remind fans how money rules the world.

Fans immediately filled Cassper’s timeline with mixed emotions, questioning whether the rapper’s tweets were meant to inspire or insult those who were trying their best, given their circumstances.
Some followers pointed out how Cassper sometimes seems patronising and that they couldn’t relate.
The rapper’s die-hard fans jumped to his defence, saying that watching his success gives them inspiration in their own lives.
Cassper Nyovest made good on his promise to drop the highly anticipated SA-Nigeria collaboration with Davido and it turned out to be a great jam.
The South African rapper built up the hype with pictures of him and the If hitmaker in studio. Cassper has been promising his fans new music and Twitter seemed to approve of the new sound.
It took a couple of hours for the song to catch fire on the social media streets but it seems to Twitter, both Cassper and Davido can do no wrong.
While the music is great and the video is top quality, it is a pretty standard ‘big mansion and girls in bikinis’ type of vibe.
However, Cassper Nyovest’s smooth moves and the catchy hook saves the day.

Cassper Nyovest’s attempt to defend Nadia Nakai over her alleged shaming backfired in a big way.
Cassper Nyovest took to social media this week to slam the popular soapie Isidingo for “shaming” rapper Nadia Nakai.
The SABC 3 show featured a scene in one episode about the recent drama over a picture of Nadia with no makeup.
Numerous social media users criticised Nadia for looking “unrecognisable” without a face of full makeup.
The incident inspired the #NadiaNakaiMakeupChallenge which resulted in scores of Twitter users sharing pictures of themselves with and without makeup.
But Cassper thought Isidingo was being shady when it aired a scene with two of its characters discussing Nadia’s shocking transformation.
“Someone sent me this clip of Isidingo shaming Nadia Nakai like all the other Cyber bullies. A whole Isidingo ? I wonder how they think the poor girl will feel. Wow. Ra di bona hle,” he tweeted.
But it seems Cassper misinterpreted the scene, and many Twitter let him know what was really going on.
“Cassper they weren’t shaming her broe. @IsidingoSABC3 Is relevant like that, they even did that with fill up Fnb they keep up with what’s trending… All I heard was them actually encouraging the hash tag not bashing her.,” one Twitter user replied.
Another added: “Actually I didn’t hear any shaming words they were just surprised like most of us Ehhhh. I didn’t hear any complain when they were talking about fillup.”
Cassper Nyovest has just been confirmed as an addition to the 2018 FIFA World Cup soundtrack alongside American singer, Jason Derulo.
Jason Derulo was chosen by Coca Cola to create a global anthem for the upcoming soccer tournament in Russia, and the singer has decided to dip into Africa for the project. According to reports, Derulo is working with artists from Tanzania, Ethiopia, Mozambique and of course, South Africa.
Cassper Nyovest expressed his excitement at working with Jason Derulo on what will be an anthem for the biggest sport in the world.
“Coming from a nation of colourful people this anthem will speak to South Africans as the song captures our passions for football and Coca-Cola. Working with Coca-Cola and Jason Derulo, has been a thrilling journey and we hope that this anthem will be well received by fans getting ready for the 2018 FIFA World Cup,”

On Wednesday the Doc Shebeleza hitmaker took to Instagram to share his antics and adventures in Los Angeles, including getting a fresh haircut.

Cassper Nyovest announced that his song Baby Girl, is the ninth most played song in the country.
One of his fans asked him why YFM does not play the song. Cassper responded by calling YFM bullies.
In a tweet, Cassper said, “@Yfm doesn’t play my music cause SABC1 sponsored #FillUpFnbStadium and I tweeted about it and now they want me to apologize. They are a very strong platform that I used to love but they are Bullies!!! We gone Stay Shinning though.”
Cassper Nyovest and his ex Boity Thulo, have finally set aside their differences.
The two, who were once a couple, were on Monday engaged in a heated exchange of tweets.
This happened after Cassper tweeted that Twitter has turned some people into monsters. Boity strongly disagreed and felt the app exposes monsters. Cassper then started throwing rhetorical questions at Boity, to which she responded.
Although Cassper’s opinions varied from those of Boity, they have made peace.

The 2017 South African Hip Hop Awards saw Cassper Nyovest as the award’s biggest winner.
Cassper walked away with the Milestone Award, Album of the year award, Hustler of the year award, Most Valuable (MVP) award, Best Male award and Best Video award.
