Emtee reveals he used to do deal drugs but not use them

Emtee has come clean on his drugs problem.

The rapper has been continuously accused of having a drug problem.

Emtee has always denied being on drugs at the time and he still maintains that he has never used in his life.

The rapper has finally admitted to being a dealer back in the day when he was down on his luck, but he insists he never used.

Only admitting to smoking marijuana.

“I use to be a dealer coz I was hungry. Ni**as turned around and called me a druggie. I sold that sh*t because I was broke! Never used it, “I never had a drug problem. I was just in disbelief that people can do or say any and everything about you when you’re quiet and trying not to start sh*t,” He tweeted.

Emtee Sets Drug Use Record Straight

Emtee has come out to address the fact that he is not a drug addict, and has never been one.

He took to Twitter explaining that he has dealt with drugs in the past, but has never used them, and as such, does not engage in such.
Last year, Emtee’s usage of drugs came to the spotlight following a performance that had people concerned for his safety. Although he denied being high or drunk, he vowed to live a life of sobriety following that incident.
He has addressed the rumours once again. In his own words, the rapper says he has never engaged in recreational drug use, ut has been a dealer in the past.

Emtee Proposes to longtime girlfriend

Emtee has popped the question to longtime girlfriend Nicole Kendall Chinsamy.

The Roll-Up rapper took to his Instagram Stories to share the news by posting a picture of Nicole’s hand adorned with a diamond ring on her ring finger.

In an interview with  DRUM, Emtee revealed that the couple got engaged  on Sunday in Ghana where they were attending the AFRIMA Awards.

“We got engaged on Sunday in Ghana. I had a nice dinner planned for her by the pool side at the hotel we were staying at and that’s when I popped the question.”

“She was surprised, and she kept blushing but I had to do it because she’s my soulmate, no one else comes up.”

Emtee reveals that he is now sober

Taking to twitter Emtee has come out saying he’s now free from all narcotics and is as sober as a judge.

He thanked all his supporters and said he’s back now, and mentioned that no one must “try” him. The rapper also thanked the city of Bloemfontein for taking care of him when he needed to get away.

“I’m now sober from ALL Narcotics. I don’t drink alcohol and I’m grateful for all my supporters. I’m back,” he tweeted.

Emtee reveals he doesn’t consume Alchohol

Emtee recently made headlines for the wrong reasons when a clip of him falling on stage during a performance surfaced on social media.

Many fans questioned what happened leading up the star’s collapse, adding that he needed help.

Well Emtee tried to defend himself by stating that he doesn’t consume Alchohol.

Fans concerned after Emtee collapses on stage

During his performance on stage, musician Emtee collapsed.

In a video circulating online, he is seen falling backwards as the crowd gasps.

In yet another video, Emtee is seen being escorted off the stage by security staff.

He finally came out to explain what really happened, and for him, it was just an ordinary fall.

“I’m doing great. Absolutely fine. I just fell. The security was worried so they took me backstage. The stage was very small and I had to watch my step. It must’ve been a wire that made me fall because I wouldn’t have just fallen out of the blue.”

Emtee to quit drinking due to his teeth

Emtee  told Slikour recently that his pearly whites were becoming more like pearly ruins and hommie is suffering.

“The drank is messing up my teeth. They are decaying and stuff like that. I am suffering but it ain’t a (big) thing.”

He said the solution was to do like Cardi B and get a fresh pair while stunting on his haters.

“I am just going to the dentist and get brand new teeth. Be like Cardi B, fix my teeth and make sure they know it ain’t cheap.”

Emtee reveals he doesn’t smoke in front of kids

Emtee has said that one of the things he would never do intentionally is smoke in front of other people’s underage kids.

A controversial Twitter account‚ @AdvBarryRoux‚ alleged that Emtee “happily” smoked weed in front of a group of kids who were his fans.

Emtee told TshisaLIVE that he won’t deny that he was smoking a cigar when a group of kids approached for pictures‚ but said it was not intentional.

“No man‚ it was all a misunderstanding‚ yes I was smoking but I don’t smoke in front of kids. The person who claimed they saw me smoking‚ didn’t actually see what was going on. They must have been passing by and just assumed I smoked in front of those kids but that was not the case.”

Emtee  explained what happened on the day of the “incident”.

“I was taking a break from washing my car‚ when a couple of kids ran towards me asking for a picture. I was not even smoking things like weed‚ I was smoking a cigar. I said to the kids please come back a little later‚ I’ll call you for your pictures then they left and went back to playing. I smoked‚ then when I was done I called them and we took plenty of pictures because kids love me and I love them.”

Emtee TV show could finally becoming a reality (Details)

In an interview with Tshisha Live last year Emtee revealed he was working on a new show that could unearth new hiphop artist in SouthAfrica.

“I have this idea for a TV show that will discover young rap talent and also showcase them to the country. I am passionate about young talent and have tried to expose them to the industry through my new record label. This is just the next step in that,” Emtee said at the time.

However the project had to come to a halt  after not enough people showed up at auditions and the rapper’s busy schedule threatened to unravel the entire production.

The Pearl Thusi hitmaker’s manager, Lebo Maswanganyi, confirmed that there were logistical delays but said it would still go ahead.

“We are still shooting the show and have been this whole week. I think we announced it a little too soon last year with no proper planning or conceptualisation. We had auditions but it wasn’t marketed properly so we didn’t have enough content. We had to go back to the drawing board and work on it again. Also, Emtee’s schedule was very busy with shows and other projects.”

He said they planned to relaunch the show next month with it airing near the middle of the year. It will be broadcast on GauTV, even after the broadcaster pulled adverts for it in the middle of last year.

“GauTV have been very supportive of the project and have been patient with us. We are looking forward to it finally being on screens,” Lebo added.

Late last year, Emtee bought himself a Mercedes-Benz. This year, he decided to gift his father with a car.

Emtee shared a picture of himself with his brother, next to the new car.

He said: “Me and lil brother @cash_lordlove_atm got a whip for our father. Another one of my dreams came true. Thank You LORD”

In another post, Emtee said how grateful he was to have bought his father a car.

Emtee reveals his desire to marry his baby mama

Rapper Mthembeni “Emtee” Ndevu (25) and his partner Nicole Chinsamy (22) welcomed their second baby boy, Logan, on 30 January.

In a recent interview with DRUM magazine Nicole shared how shocked she was when she first found out she was pregnant with her second child. “I was shocked because I’m still studying and the pregnancy wasn’t planned.” She’s in her second year of studying fashion design at Sew Africa.

In contrast Emtee was ecstatic to find out he was to father another child. Unlike with their first child Avery (2), where Emtee felt unprepared for fatherhood, the Manando singer says he was happy and ready for their second born. “I was ready this time. Then, I didn’t know how it was going to end up,” he recalls. “I pushed myself knowing there is someone to take care of.”

The couple has been together close to six years and describes their first meeting as “love at first sight”.

“We met through a friend. Unlike the other guys, he wasn’t pretending to be something he was not,” Nicole said. “He didn’t have much at the time [but] I fell in love with him. It really was love at first sight.”

The attraction was mutual as Emtee couldn’t stop thinking about Nicole. “She wasn’t like any of the other girls. She was reserved and the amount of cultural diversity she has grown up under also attracted me.” Nicole’s mother is coloured and her father is Indian. “She is Mandela’s dream, a rainbow nation.”

Emtee added that he would like to marry Nicole sooner rather than later but she wants to complete her studies and start a business before they can walk down the aisle.

Emtee and his long-term girlfriend Nicole Kendall Chinsamy have welcomed a baby boy.

In an recent interview with Drum, Emtee expressed is excitement about becoming a father again, and said that his 2-year-old son, Avery, couldn’t wait to meet his younger brother.

The rapper posted a photo of the newborn on Instagram and Twitter with the caption, “Welcome my son Logan. Love my children.”

Somizi Weighs in on Emtee’s Manhood Drama

Somizi is the latest person to weigh in on Emtee manhood drama.Emtee accidentally flashed his manhood on instagram live .

Somizi commented on the incident  on his Metro FM Breakfast show with DJ Fresh on Tuesday, Somizi claimed that the incident was a result of Emtee being surrounded by “yes friends” and people that didn’t have his best interests at heart. He further questioned the company the rapper kept and advised him to get new friends.

“For me, it was a mistake but one that could have been avoided from the onset. It worries me when I see a career that is doing well and a talented young man making stupid mistakes because you’re surrounded with fans that are disguised as friends.” 

He also weighed in on the jokes being made about Emtee’s manhood.

“Console yourselves all you want. All I am saying is if you are short, you can only stretch your arm to a certain extent. If you are tall you are tall,” he said.

Commenting on the incident  to Tshisa Live after an Instagram Live video showing his private parts went viral on Monday, Emtee explained that he had been using the bathroom while speaking to fans when the mishap happened.

“I was in the toilet and answering fans’ questions on Instagram live. I needed to pee but without thinking I used the same hand I was holding my phone while I was doing my thing and used the same hand to flush. I didn’t even think about it until I realised what I had done and I immediately apologized. I was like ‘oh, no!,'” he said. 

The Pearl Thusi hitmaker described the incident as a “big mistake” but said he was unfazed by the jokes about him.

Emtee apologises for leaked photos of his manhood

Rapper Emtee, has described leaked pictures of his manhood as a “big mistake”.

The rapper has become the talk of town after screenshots from a video, which was shared by Emtee on Instagram live, went viral on today morning.

Emtee said he was very sorry and that it was a big mistake.

“I was in the toilet and answering fans’ questions on Instagram live. I needed to pee but without thinking I used the same hand I was holding my phone while I was doing my thing and used the same hand to flush. I didn’t even think about it until I realised what I had done and I immediately apologised. I was like ‘oh, no!,'” he said.

He deleted the video as soon as he realised what happened as he didn’t do it on purpose.

“I have seen the reaction and I am not sure what I can do about it or how to justify it. I am aware of what they are saying about me. I am sorry and there’s not much else I can do. I am a soldier so I will weather this storm and just see what happens.”
