Mthokozisi Ndaba on working with Prince Kaybee

After posting an RnB version of the artist’s hit song Banomoya on his Instagram page, Mthokozisi seems to have captured Prince Kaybee attention.

Prince Kaybee asked to work with him on remixing the song after seeing the post.

In an Interview with the Daily Sun, this is what he had to say about the Opportunity.

“It has always been my dream to work with him. God quickly answered my prayers,”

He said he did a cover of the song and posted it along with the video clip on his Instagram page. “I got carried away and just rearranged and remixed the song without his permission.

“ I then wrote: ‘Banomoya RnB cover coming soon. Shall I?’ My intention was to see how fans would react to it.”

He was surprised when it caught Prince Kaybee’s attention.“A miracle happened. He saw it on Sunday and sent me a message to fly to Joburg.

“He wanted us to record the RnB version and use it as an intro to his upcoming album,” Mthokozisi said.

By Monday afternoon, the RnB track was done and dusted. The duo posted clips, with Prince Kaybee saying: “Shout out to Mthokozisi. Something huge is coming. I called this guy yesterday and he was here today.”

Mthokozisi said: “Working with him was amazing. I thank Prince Kaybee for believing in me.”

Mthokozisi Ndaba speaks on being a father

Mthokozisi Ndaba welcomed his son this past weekend, thus giving him a new lease on life and renewed sense of hope.

He welcomed his first child with fiance Nandipha Sefoloko on Saturday.

Mthokozisi says when he held his son, he was overcome with emotion and is grateful that his boy is healthy.

“There was no complications. Everything went well. Nandipha is doing well and I am going to fetch them from the hospital later. It feels so good to be a dad again. It gives me another reason to live. It has changed my mindset. I have to work hard to make him proud.”

Mthokozisi lost his first son shortly after his birth in 2013.

“We named our son K’saselihle which means bright future because after everything that’s happened‚ those dark clouds that I had to pass through‚ he gives me hope. Through it all‚ he gives me a bright future.

“It is one of those graces of God. You know when you go through a lot and God surprises you with the best gift in the world? That is what is happening in our lives. We have a new reason to live. God has been preparing me for this.”
