Takkies’ daughter was born on the 14th of January and she has been gushing about her daughter since then.
Since announcing her pregnancy, she has shared her pregnancy journey every step of the way.
Takkies then decided to share a video of her daughter Sana’s birth. For her, the day Sana was born was one of the best days of her life.

Birth is so incredible. From the moment your body begins to perform miracles to carry a baby, right through to when you meet your beautiful bundle of joy.”
Her husband, Chris appears in the video and talks about the night her water broke. They debate whether to go to the hospital immediately or wait. Takkies then has a small scare when her water flows down her legs.
They go to the hospital and we are able to see until the time she delivered the baby.

Thousands of fitness enthusiasts from all walks of life took to Tygervalley Shopping Centre’s rooftop on Saturday to partake in the Women’s Health Fit Night Out, in proud sponsorship with Shield.
The workout party of year, now in its second year running, certainly did not disappoint as women of all fitness levels came together to have an endorphin-induced blast for hours on end.
Leaning in on all the action of the day, Shield Women’s South Africa enjoyed many #ShieldReady moments with fans as they came to the Shield stage to participate in signature routines demonstrated by Mapule Ndhlovu, Takkies and Sbahle Mpisane.
Forming part of the Shield squad, the three fitness ambassadors spent the afternoon talking to fans, taking selfies, giving workout tips and advice, and showing fans how to be #ShieldReady through three unique, high-powered workouts.
