Sauti Sol and Diamond Set To Hit The Stage Together
The hottest topic in Kenya today is the imminent touch down of Obama in Kenya which is scheduled for Friday this week. Kenya has never been on the global headlines before like now.
But even when international media houses still view our country as a very unsafe place (read: ), this has not discouraged foreigners from flocking the country to see what we have to offer.
And now a promise has come once again. Few days after Obama jets out of the country to Ethiopia, Kenyans will be treated with a performance of its kind when celebrated African artistes converge at the Carnivore Grounds on 1st August.
The performance will be led by Tanzania’s all-time top singer and MAMA awards winner Diamond Platnumz, Kenya’s Sauti Sol, Rabbit, Kansoul Crew among several other artistes in an event dubbed the Mama Awards After Party.
The Tanzania singer is expected to fly into the country for the first time since performing in Mombasa where he was criticized for allegedly undermining Kenyan artistes who performed alongside him.
This has been confirmed after posters appeared detailing how the party will go down.
While Sauti Sol failed to win an award, Diamond scooped one at the recently concluded MAMA Awards.
